Finish off the the Car AI Challenge

Finish off the car AI project you have been working on for the last 2 sessions. Add your project to the Competition Studio and we will find a winner! Who’s AI car is the fastest around the tracks? You will need to set up a timer.

Competition Rules:

  1. Share your project and add it to this studio
  2. Name your project like this: [firstname]‘s AI Challenge (e.g. Aidan’s AI Challenge)
  3. You must have working timers that can time your car going around each track
  4. Car must not go off the track or switch directions
  5. Car must be able to go around all 3 tracks of the starter project.
  6. Fastest time on track 3 wins!

Robotics

This session is run by Nathalie. An introduction to robotics using mBot robot kits and a block programming language called mBlock which is similar to Scratch.

3D Computer Aided Design with TinkerCAD

Microcontrollers

A collaborative group exploring how computers can interact with the outside world through a range of sensors and controllers. Primarily we’ll be using the Raspberry Pi (http://raspberrypi.org) computer in conjunction with Arduinos (http://arduino.cc) and along the way we’ll learn about Python, C and C++ programming, digital and analogue electronics and about working together.
